Wow! The last year flew by with a very lackluster effort on my part for this blog! Now, I feel as if I have a fresh outlook on the direction I want to take this in. Those of you who know me, know that I love to cook. The one thing I enjoy almost as much as cooking is talking about cooking! Just as you would ask your friend who sells houses for advice when buying a house or you ask your friend who works with computers how to get rid of that stupid spyware-my friends and family ask me about cooking. I love teaching someone something new.Sometimes it is something that is so simple or commonplace in my everyday cooking life yet to someone who only cooks at home, the small tips and hints make all the difference to them. People have told me time after time how they will avoid using certain ingredients that they love because they simply do not know a way to prepare them that doesn't rack their brain or give them carpal tunnel.
I will be starting off the new entries by jumping straight into great appetizers, entrees and side dishes using fresh, seasonal spring ingredients-complete with pictorials and how to instructions on basic culinary techniques.
